save 1/3 on insulation costs - get a warmer, healthier home for your family next winter.

ENERGYWISE™ Homes Funding

Around 900,000 Kiwi homes have substandard insulation. Get one third off the cost of insulation - SAVE on heating and SAVE on sniffles.

Want a warmer, healthier home for your family next winter? Then act now and take advantage of a great ENERGYWISE™ offer.

We are working with delivery partners so homeowners can make their homes warmer and more energy efficient. Funding is available for insulation, clean heating and other energy efficiency measures for homes (eligibility dependant). ENERGYWISE™ offers either a grant of one third of the costs of home improvements, or an interest subsidy.

Are you eligible?

  • Do you own your own home?
  • Was it built before 1 January 2000?
  • Is the income of the homeowners, before tax:
    • less than $100,000 a year (one or two earners), or
    • less than $140,000 a year (three or more earners)?

If you can answer 'yes' to all the eligibility criteria statements above, complete the enquiry form on the right to be in contact with ENERGYWISE™ delivery partners in your area.

You will be required to complete a declaration confirming you meet the eligibility criteria. Then one of the ENERGYWISE™ delivery partners will complete an energy efficiency assessment of your home, and provide you with a quote. Normal lending criteria must be met if accessing the loan subsidy option.

Funding is also available to landlords when insulating and applying energy efficiency measures to residential properties. The above income threshold applies to the landlord, not the tenant.

What's on offer?

  1. ENERGYWISE™ delivery partners organisations will assess your home, and suggest the best option for improving your home's insulation, heating and general energy efficiency.
