Underfloor heating
Underfloor heating provides a comfortable radiant heat. It heats the people, rather than the air. Even if the air temperature is cold, a person standing on a warm floor will feel comfortable.
Underfloor heating suits households with children or others who might be in danger from touching or falling on hot appliances. It distributes heat evenly and because it doesn't produce any draughts, it doesn't stir up dust.
The air is not heated so there is no moisture build-up or condensation left on windows.
Some underfloor systems have warm water circulating through tubing embedded in concrete. Heat sources for the warm water can be electricity, gas, solar, wetbacks, diesel boilers or waste heat.
