In Your Home - energy-use is so much a part of modern life that we don’t usually give it a moment’s thought.

Get a Home Energy Rating assessment

This section explains how to go about getting a Home Energy Rating assessment for your home.

Find an assessor

To get an assessment, simply select an assessor in your area from the list of qualified assessors.

During the early stages there may only be a limited number of trained assessors available – this will increase over time as more assessors are trained.

Cost of an assessment

Assessors set their own fees, and the cost may vary depending on factors such as locations, and size and complexity of the home. It is recommended that you obtain quotes from several assessors, as you would for any other similar service.

Your assessor will show you where the opportunities for savings are in your home – potential savings may far outweigh the cost of getting a rating.
