Wall insulation
On this page
Existing homes
It is difficult to insulate the walls in houses that are already built. Take the opportunity to insulate when you renovate and have either the inside or outside cladding of walls removed. Make sure there is building paper in the wall as insulation should not come into contact with cladding
An easier option is to insulate the ceiling and under the floors which is where over a third (33%) of heat loss occurs.
