Subsidies on efficient lighting products
From time to time the Electricity Commission offers subsidies on efficient lighting technologies. Below is a list of what is currently available:
EnergyMad

5 for $10 or $2.50 each
Wattage: 20W
Replaces: 100W incandescent
Sold nationwide through Foodstuffs outlets, Pak'N'Save and New World, Shell stations from 1 September till 31 November
- EnergyMad 15W Spiral Ecobulb

5 for $10 or $2.50 each
Wattage: 15W
Replaces: 60W incandescent
Sold nationwide through Foodstuffs outlets, Pak'N'Save and New World, Shell stations from 1 September till 31 November.
- EnergyMad 13W Covered Ecobulb

5 for $10 or $2.50 each
Wattage: 13W
Replaces: 60W incandescent
Sold nationwide through Foodstuffs outlets, Pak'N'Save and New World, Shell stations from 1 September till 31 November
- EnergyMad 15W Downlight and Fitting

$10 each
Wattage: 15W
Replaces: 50W Halogen light and fitting
Sold nationwide through Foodstuffs outlets, Pak'N'Save and New World, Shell stations from 1 September till 31 November.
Ecobulb Mini downlights should be installed by a registered electrician. If a home owner wishes to install them in their own home, then the installation will need to be tested by a registered electrical inspector before being connected to the electrical supply.

- Philips TLD Eco Lamp

25 for $156.25
Wattage: 51W
Replaces: 58W
Available from Powerbase Electrical Wholesalers, Ideal Eletrcial Wholesalers, and Lamp Specs nationwide.
